Ingredients
- 2 Organic Lemons
- 4 Sprigs Rosemary
- 100 g Raw Cane Sugar
- 80 ml Salus® Aperino® Turmeric Ginger
- 200 ml Sparkling Mineral Water
Instructions
- 1. Boil 100 grams of sugar with 200 milliliters of water and one rosemary sprig. Let the mixture reduce until you have about 200 milliliters of syrup. You only need 15 milliliters of this syrup for one glass of lemonade.
- 2. Wash the lemons and pat them dry. Grate the peel of one lemon finely to obtain zest. Cut all lemons in half and squeeze out the juice. Slice the remaining lemon into thin rounds. Wash the rosemary and shake off excess water. Pluck the needles off one rosemary sprig.
- 3. Place the lemon zest and rosemary needles into an ice cube tray. Pour water over them and put the tray in the freezer for at least 6 hours.
- 4. Add sugar and 200 milliliters of water to a pot. Heat the mixture until the sugar has completely dissolved. Add one rosemary sprig and let the syrup steep briefly. Then allow the rosemary syrup to cool down.
- 5. Fill two glasses with the rosemary ice cubes and lemon slices. Add 10 milliliters of lemon juice, 15 milliliters of rosemary syrup, and 40 milliliters of Salus® Aperino® Curcuma Ginger to each. Top up with mineral water. Enjoy the lemonade well chilled.
