  1. 1. Wash the tomatoes, cut them into quarters, remove the seeds, and dice the flesh into small pieces. Place the vegetables in a bowl. Peel the onion and garlic, chop them very finely, and stir them into the tomatoes.
  2. 2. Wash the basil, shake off excess water, chop the leaves coarsely, and mix them with vinegar, oil, and a pinch of salt into the tomato mixture. Let the mixture sit for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. 3. Toast the ciabatta bread. Place the olives and salami into small bowls. Serve everything together with the tomato mixture.
