Ingredients
- 1 pineapple
- apple juice to taste (clear)
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 1 tsp cloves
- 500 g jam sugar (2:1)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the pineapple, cut it into quarters, and remove the hard core. Dice the soft flesh into small cubes.
- 2. Weigh the fruit flesh and add apple juice until you have exactly 1 kilogram. Put the mixture in a pot, add lemon juice, cloves, and sugar. Bring to a boil while stirring. Let it boil vigorously for about 4 minutes (perform a setting test to be sure).
- 3. Fill the hot jam into prepared, clean jars and seal them immediately. Let the jars cool down.
