  1. 1. Peel the pineapple, cut it into quarters, and remove the hard core. Dice the soft flesh into small cubes.
  2. 2. Weigh the fruit flesh and add apple juice until you have exactly 1 kilogram. Put the mixture in a pot, add lemon juice, cloves, and sugar. Bring to a boil while stirring. Let it boil vigorously for about 4 minutes (perform a setting test to be sure).
  3. 3. Fill the hot jam into prepared, clean jars and seal them immediately. Let the jars cool down.
