🥤 Warm Pineapple Punch

Ingredients
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Butter
- 200 g Pineapple flesh (fresh or canned)
- 100 ml Pineapple juice
- 2 tsp black tea
- 125 ml white rum
- 50 ml Madeira
- 1 bottle Muscatel (0,7 l)
Instructions
- 1. Pour 250 milliliters of boiling water over the tea bag.
- 2. Let the tea steep for five minutes.
- 3. Remove the tea bag from the liquid and squeeze it lightly.
- 4. Cut the pineapple flesh into small cubes.
- 5. Melt the butter together with the sugar in a pot on the stove.
- 6. Stir continuously until the mixture caramelizes to a golden brown color.
- 7. Remove the pot from the heat immediately.
- 8. Pour the strained tea directly into the hot caramel.
- 9. Add the arrack, the Madeira, the pineapple juice, and the wine.
- 10. Stir the liquids vigorously until they are well combined.
- 11. Gently fold in the prepared pineapple cubes.
- 12. Warm the entire mixture while stirring constantly.
- 13. Make sure that the punch does not boil.
- 14. Serve the punch immediately while hot.
