1. Take the butter for tempering out of the fridge and cut it into cubes. In a bowl, combine the butter, powdered sugar, salt, egg, flour, baking powder, and cocoa to form a homogeneous dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the fridge for about 2 hours.
2. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection). Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface to a thickness of about 5 mm, cut out dry shapes, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for approx. 12–14 minutes in the oven and then let them cool on a cake rack.
3. Chop the coating chocolate into small pieces and melt it over a double boiler. Dip the cooled chocolate drops into the melted coating chocolate. Let the chocolate set firm and then serve. Enjoy your meal!
