🍛 Dal Tarka with Naan

Ingredients
- 150 g red lentils
- 1 Stk onion
- 2 Stk garlic cloves
- 1 cm ginger
- 1 TL cumin
- 1 TL coriander
- 1 Stk tomato
- 2 Stk naan bread
- 2 EL oil
- 500 ml water
- 1 TL salt
- einige coriander leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Chop the onion, garlic, and ginger finely.
- 2. Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until golden brown.
- 3. Add cumin and coriander and roast for a short time.
- 4. Add the lentils and diced tomato, fill with water, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes until the lentils are soft.
- 5. Season with salt and blend if desired, or serve as is.
- 6. Bake the naan bread according to package instructions.
- 7. Serve the dal in bowls, garnish with coriander leaves, and enjoy with naan.
