Ingredients
- 100 g yellow lentils
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 cm ginger
- 2 Zehen garlic
- 1 TL cumin
- 1/2 TL turmeric
- 2 EL ghee or oil
- 10 g cilantro
- 500 ml water
Instructions
- 1. Soak the lentils in water and then cook with fresh water until soft.
- 2. Heat ghee in a pot and add cumin, onion, ginger, and garlic.
- 3. Add tomato, turmeric, and salt, and sauté for a few minutes.
- 4. Add the cooked lentils and mix well. Adjust consistency with water.
- 5. Garnish with cilantro and simmer for 5 minutes.
