🥐 Crunchy Chocolate Croissant Casserole

Ingredients
- 4 Stück Croissants (stale)
- 100 g Milk chocolate
- 3 Stück Eggs (Class M)
- 250 ml Whole milk
- 20 g Sugar
- 1 Prise Cinnamon
- 10 g Butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius convection off.
- 2. Lightly butter a small baking dish (approx. 20x20 cm).
- 3. Cut the croissants into cubes and arrange them evenly in the dish.
- 4. Chop the chocolate into small pieces and distribute them over the croissants.
- 5. Whisk the eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl until smooth.
- 6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants.
- 7. Let the mixture stand for 10 minutes so the pastry absorbs the liquid.
- 8. Bake the casserole for approx. 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- 9. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
