  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius top-bottom heat.
  2. 2. Cut the croissants into coarse cubes and place them in a greased baking dish.
  3. 3. Whisk the eggs, milk, maple syrup and half of the red beet in a bowl.
  4. 4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants.
  5. 5. Press the remaining red beet nicely onto the surface.
  6. 6. Mix crumbled butter, oats, sugar and cinnamon for the crumb.
  7. 7. Sprinkle the crumb mix over the baking dish content.
  8. 8. Bake the dish for 30 minutes in the oven until golden brown and firm.
