🥐 Golden Croissant Beetroot Crumb Crunch

Ingredients
- 3 Stück Croissants (stale)
- 150 g boiled red beet (cooked, diced)
- 2 Stück eggs (size M)
- 250 ml whole milk
- 30 g maple syrup
- 30 g butter (soft)
- 40 g oats (fine)
- 1 Teelöffel cinnamon (ground)
- 20 g sugar (brown)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius top-bottom heat.
- 2. Cut the croissants into coarse cubes and place them in a greased baking dish.
- 3. Whisk the eggs, milk, maple syrup and half of the red beet in a bowl.
- 4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants.
- 5. Press the remaining red beet nicely onto the surface.
- 6. Mix crumbled butter, oats, sugar and cinnamon for the crumb.
- 7. Sprinkle the crumb mix over the baking dish content.
- 8. Bake the dish for 30 minutes in the oven until golden brown and firm.
