🥪 Croque Maduré with Roast Beef

Ingredients
- 8 Scheiben Rye bread slices
- 200 g Roast beef (sliced)
- 150 g Emmental cheese (grated)
- 4 EL Mayonnaise
- 2 TL Mustard (hot)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C top and bottom heat.
- 2. Mix the mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl until smooth.
- 3. Generously spread the mayonnaise mixture on one side of four bread slices.
- 4. Layer half of the slices with roast beef and the other half with grated cheese.
- 5. Place the remaining four unspread bread slices on top, with the mayonnaise side facing inward.
- 6. Spread the remaining mayonnaise mixture on top of each sandwich and sprinkle the remaining cheese over it.
- 7. Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 8. Bake the sandwiches in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- 9. Remove the sandwiches from the oven and let them cool for 2 minutes before cutting.
- 10. Serve the Croque Maduré warm.
