Ingredients
- 400g Pork Chops
- 20g Butter
- 1 TL Horseradish
- 1 TL Lemon Juice
- 1 Zehen Garlic
- 1 TL Paprika Powder
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
- 2. Pat the 400 g pork chops dry with paper towels. Never wash them, as this spreads germs.
- 3. Rub 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper evenly over both sides of the chops.
- 4. Finely chop the garlic clove. Be careful: Finely chopped garlic burns quickly.
- 5. Cut the 20 g butter into small cubes. This helps it melt faster later.
- 6. Place the seasoned pork chops flat in the air fryer basket. Ensure there is space between the pieces.
- 7. Cook the pork chops at 180 °C for 10 minutes. Turn them halfway through until the surface is firm and golden brown.
- 8. Briefly remove the pork chops from the air fryer and place them on a plate. They aren't cooked through yet.
- 9. Melt the 20 g butter in a small pan over medium heat. It should foam, but not brown.
- 10. Stir the finely chopped garlic, 1 tsp horseradish, and 1 tsp lemon juice into the butter.
- 11. Generously brush the pork chops with the warm butter-horseradish sauce. Cover all meat surfaces.
- 12. Sprinkle 1 tsp paprika evenly over the juicy pork chops. This adds colour and flavour.
- 13. Place the pork chops back into the air fryer. Cook for another 3 minutes at 180 °C.
- 14. Let the pork chops rest on the plate for 2 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute evenly.
- 15. Serve the pork chops immediately. They are perfect when the crust is crispy and the meat is juicy.
