Ingredients
- 200g Chicken breast fillet
- 50g Oats
- 1 Egg
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1 Prise Pepper
- 1 EL Lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C. This ensures immediate crispiness.
- 2. Cut the 200 g chicken breast into approx. 1 cm thick strips. Ensure uniform size.
- 3. Beat the 1 egg in a shallow bowl. Use a bowl with a wide bottom.
- 4. Add the 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 pinch of salt, and 1 pinch of pepper to the egg. Whisk until smooth.
- 5. Place the 50 g oats in a second shallow bowl. Place it next to the egg bowl.
- 6. Dip one chicken strip into the egg first. Turn it so it is wet everywhere.
- 7. Shake off excess egg briefly so it doesn't drip. This prevents soggy oats.
- 8. Press the strip firmly into the oats. Ensure a thick, even layer.
- 9. Place the breaded strip directly into the air fryer basket. Repeat for all strips.
- 10. Cook the chicken strips at 200 °C for 12 minutes. Do not move them so the coating sticks.
- 11. Open the fryer and carefully turn the strips. They should sit firmly.
- 12. Cook for another 3 minutes at 200 °C. The coating will turn golden brown and crispy now.
- 13. Remove the chicken strips and place them on a plate. They are now done.
- 14. Serve: Serve the strips hot. Perfect: Golden crust and juicy meat inside.
