🍞 Crispy Pain Perdu with Cinnamon

Ingredients
- 300 g Stale white bread (cut into cubes)
- 3 Stk Eggs (Size M)
- 100 ml Whole milk
- 1 TL Cinnamon (ground)
- 30 g Butter (for frying)
- 40 ml Maple syrup
Instructions
- 1. Whisk eggs, milk and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
- 2. Cut the bread into cubes and dip them briefly into the egg mixture.
- 3. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat.
- 4. Fry the soaked bread cubes for 10 minutes until crispy and golden brown, turning them occasionally.
- 5. Remove the pan from the heat and drizzle maple syrup over it.
- 6. Serve the pain perdu immediately while hot.
