  3. 3. Fry the bacon in a large baking dish or frying pan over medium heat until crispy.
  4. 4. Remove the bacon and crumble it. Leave the bacon fat in the pan.
  5. 5. Sweat the onions in the bacon fat for 3 minutes until translucent.
  6. 6. Add the potato slices and cream to the pan. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Let everything simmer over medium heat for 12 minutes until potatoes are soft and cream thickens.
