  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat.
  2. 2. Fry the bacon strips in a pan until crispy and remove them.
  3. 3. Mix the cream cheese, cream, mustard, garlic and nutmeg in a bowl to form a smooth sauce.
  4. 4. Add half of the grated cheese and half of the bacon pieces to the sauce and stir.
  5. 5. Fill the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  6. 6. Place the remaining bacon strips as a crust on the cheese layer.
  7. 7. Bake the dish for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
