  2. 2. Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a bowl until smooth.
  3. 3. Pour the warm milk slowly into the egg mixture while stirring.
  4. 4. Continue to stir the mixture in the pot over medium heat until it thickens.
  5. 5. Remove the cinnamon stick and candied lemon peel, and stir in the ground almonds.
  6. 6. Fill the cream into 4 small molds and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
