🍮 Aromatic Milk Cream with Almond

Ingredients
- 500 ml Whole milk
- 4 Stück Egg yolks
- 80 g Sugar
- 20 g Candied lemon peel
- 1 Stück Cinnamon stick
- 20 g Cornstarch
- 1 EL Lemon juice
- 30 g Ground almonds
Instructions
- 1. Heat the milk in a pot with the cinnamon stick and candied lemon peel briefly, without letting it boil.
- 2. Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a bowl until smooth.
- 3. Pour the warm milk slowly into the egg mixture while stirring.
- 4. Continue to stir the mixture in the pot over medium heat until it thickens.
- 5. Remove the cinnamon stick and candied lemon peel, and stir in the ground almonds.
- 6. Fill the cream into 4 small molds and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
