🍮 Catalan Vanilla Cake with Orange Strudels

Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 200 ml milk
- 3 Stk. eggs
- 1 EL lemon juice
- 1 Pck. baking powder
Instructions
- 1. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add a portion of the sugar. Stir everything together with your fingers.
- 2. Add the cold, cubed butter and quickly knead everything into a coarse crumb dough. Chill the dough for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
- 3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Take the dough out of the fridge and form small strudels from the crumbs.
- 4. Whisk the eggs with the remaining sugar, the milk, and the lemon juice in a bowl.
- 5. Place the strudels in a baking dish and pour the egg mixture over them.
- 6. Bake the dish for 30 minutes in the oven until the surface is golden brown.
