  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat.
  2. 2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to a size of approx. 30x40 cm.
  3. 3. Toss the currants with the sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  4. 4. Place the pastry on a baking sheet and put the fruit mixture in the center, leaving a border of approx. 3 cm.
  5. 5. Fold the pastry from the two long sides over the filling, leaving the center open.
  6. 6. Bake the crostata for 25 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and risen.
