  3. 3. Pour the passated tomatoes into the pan and let them simmer for 5 minutes until they thicken.
  4. 4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the ricotta until a creamy sauce forms.
  5. 5. Gently fold the drained spaghetti into the sauce and mix well.
  6. 6. Crush the fresh basil with your hands and sprinkle it on top. Season with salt and pepper.
