🥔 Creamy Spring Onion Potato Gratin

Ingredients
- 800 g Russet potatoes
- 6 Stück Spring onions
- 200 ml Sour cream
- 100 g Herb cream cheese
- 80 g Gouda cheese
- 20 g Butter
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 1 g Nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish with the butter.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and slice them into paper-thin rounds (about 2 mm). Rinse off the starch with cold water and pat dry.
- 3. Wash the spring onions, slice them into thin rings, and separate the white bases from the green tips.
- 4. Mix the sour cream, herb cream cheese, salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg in a large bowl.
- 5. Layer half of the potato slices in the baking dish. Distribute the white onion rings on top. Pour half of the cream mixture over it.
- 6. Layer the remaining potatoes and green onion tips on top. Pour the remaining cream mixture over it.
- 7. Sprinkle the gratin with the grated Gouda cheese. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- 8. Bake the gratin in the oven for 45 minutes.
- 9. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for another 15 minutes, until the surface is golden brown and bubbling.
- 10. Let the dish rest for 10 minutes before serving to allow it to set slightly.
