🥟 Spanish Chicken Spinat Pastry Pockets

Ingredients
- 1 Stück (ca. 400 g) Puff pastry sheet
- 300 g Chicken breast fillet
- 200 g Spinach (frozen, thawed and squeezed)
- 1 Stück Onion
- 100 g Cheddar cheese (grated)
- 1 Stück Garlic clove
- 2 EL Olive oil
- 1 TL Paprika powder (sweet)
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1 Prise Black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (conventional heat).
- 2. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 3. Cut the chicken meat into small cubes.
- 4. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chicken until golden brown.
- 5. Add the onions and garlic and sweat them for 2 minutes.
- 6. Stir in the spinach, spices, and half of the cheese. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 7. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 4 equal squares.
- 8. Place the filling in the center of each pastry square.
- 9. Fold the corners to the center, seal the edges firmly, and poke holes in the top with a fork.
- 10. Place the pastry pockets on a baking sheet, brush with a little oil, and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
