  1. 1. Boil a large pot of water with plenty of salt. Add the spaghetti and cook al dente.
  2. 2. In the meantime, finely chop the garlic and fry it in the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. 3. Pour the passata into the pan. Season with a pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar to balance the acidity. Let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Crush the mozzarella ball with your hands into small pieces and stir them into the hot sauce until it melts.
  5. 5. Remove the pasta, lift it directly into the sauce and mix everything well. Now stir in the torn basil leaves.
