🥩 Creamy Pork Roast with Mustard

Ingredients
- 800 g Pork roast (from shoulder)
- 2 Stück Onions
- 3 Stück Garlic cloves
- 300 ml Cream (at least 20% fat)
- 100 ml Chicken broth
- 3 EL Mustard (French or German)
- 20 g Butter
- 2 EL Olive oil
- 1 TL Salt
- 1/2 TL Black pepper
- 1 TL Thyme (dried)
Instructions
- 1. Cut pork roast into large chunks, season with salt and pepper.
- 2. Dice onions, chop garlic.
- 3. Heat butter and olive oil in a Dutch oven. Sear meat pieces well on all sides.
- 4. Add onions and garlic and sauté for 3 minutes.
- 5. Stir in mustard and thyme, roast briefly.
- 6. Deglaze with chicken broth and cream. Bring to a boil.
- 7. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer on low for 60 minutes until meat is tender.
- 8. Adjust sauce seasoning if necessary and serve.
