🍗 Creamy Mustard Chicken Gratin with Potatoes

Ingredients
- 600 g Chicken breast fillet
- 800 g Potatoes
- 2 Stk. Onions
- 250 ml Crème fraîche (20% fat)
- 1 EL Cognac vinegar
- 2 EL Wholegrain mustard
- 50 g Parmesan (grated)
- 20 g Butter
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1 Prise Black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (conventional heat).
- 2. Peel the potatoes and slice them into approx. 5 mm thick rounds.
- 3. Finely dice the onions and sweat them in the butter until translucent.
- 4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the crème fraîche, mustard, and vinegar.
- 5. Cut the chicken into approx. 2 cm cubes and season with salt and pepper.
- 6. Spread a layer of potato slices in a baking dish, add half the chicken and sauce. Repeat.
- 7. Sprinkle the top layer with the Parmesan.
- 8. Bake the gratin for 40 minutes in the oven until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
