  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti al dente.
  2. 2. Wash the mushrooms and slice them. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  3. 3. Melt the butter in a large pan and fry the mushrooms until golden brown over medium heat.
  4. 4. Add the onions and garlic and sauté them for 2 minutes until soft.
  5. 5. Pour the cream into the pan and let the sauce simmer gently for 3 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the grated parmesan and thyme leaves. Stir until the cheese has melted.
  7. 7. Add the drained pasta to the pan and mix it thoroughly with the sauce.
  8. 8. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve the dish immediately.
