🥔 Creamy Herb Potato Gratin with Gruyère

Ingredients
- 800 g Potatoes (waxy)
- 300 ml Cream (30% fat)
- 150 g Gouda cheese (grated)
- 30 g Butter
- 2 g Thyme (dried)
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 10 g Garlic (mashed)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and slice them into very thin slices (approx. 3 mm).
- 3. Grease a baking dish with the butter.
- 4. Mix the cream with thyme, salt, pepper, and garlic in a bowl.
- 5. Place the potato slices in layers in the dish and pour the cream mixture over them. Ensure the liquid covers the potatoes.
- 6. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
- 7. Remove the dish, sprinkle the Gouda on top, and bake for another 20 minutes until the surface is golden brown.
