  3. 3. Stir in the harissa paste and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. 4. Add the drained chickpeas, diced tomatoes, and vegetable broth to the pot.
  5. 5. Let the soup simmer for 15 minutes until the carrots are tender.
  6. 6. Blend the soup finely with a hand blender, but leave some chickpeas for texture.
  7. 7. Stir in the coconut milk and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
