  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cut the mozzarella balls in half and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the minced meat and fry, breaking it up, until browned (approx. 5 minutes).
  3. 3. Add the chopped garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the tomatoes and cream. Stir and add salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Place the mozzarella halves on top of the sauce. Place the skillet under the grill (or in the oven) and cook for 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
  5. 5. Remove the skillet from the oven. Tear the fresh basil with your hands over the dish and serve the meal directly from the skillet.
