🍲 Creamy Chestnut Soup with Thyme

Ingredients
- 400 g Chestnuts (cooked, peeled)
- 250 g Potatoes
- 2 Stück Onions
- 750 ml Vegetable broth
- 100 ml Cream
- 4 Zweige Thyme (fresh)
- 20 g Butter
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Peel the onions and chop them finely.
- 2. Heat the butter in a large pot. Sauté the onions over medium heat for 5 minutes until translucent and soft.
- 3. Add the potato cubes and chestnuts to the pot. Stir to coat everything with butter.
- 4. Pour in the vegetable broth. Add the thyme sprigs. Bring the soup to a boil.
- 5. Reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let the soup simmer for 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
- 6. Remove the thyme sprigs. Puree the soup with a hand blender until smooth.
- 7. Stir in the cream. Season with salt and pepper. Serve the soup hot.
