🧀 Creamy Leek & Cheese Casserole

Ingredients
- 400 g Leek
- 30 g Butter
- 20 g Flour
- 300 ml Whole Milk
- 150 g Emmentaler
- 100 g Diced Bacon
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 1 g Nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Wash the leek, slice it into thin rings and blanch for 5 minutes in salted water. Drain.
- 2. Fry the diced bacon in a pan until crispy. Remove from the pan.
- 3. Melt the butter in the same pan. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- 4. Deglaze with the milk. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens.
- 5. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in half of the cheese with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- 6. Mix the sauce with the leek and the bacon. Fill the mixture into a baking dish.
- 7. Spread the remaining cheese on top of the dish.
- 8. Bake the dish in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
