  1. 1. Wash the leek, slice it into thin rings and blanch for 5 minutes in salted water. Drain.
  2. 2. Fry the diced bacon in a pan until crispy. Remove from the pan.
  3. 3. Melt the butter in the same pan. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. 4. Deglaze with the milk. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens.
  5. 5. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in half of the cheese with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  6. 6. Mix the sauce with the leek and the bacon. Fill the mixture into a baking dish.
  7. 7. Spread the remaining cheese on top of the dish.
  8. 8. Bake the dish in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
