🍗 Chicken in Biscuit Sauce (Coq au Vin Blanc)

Ingredients
- 800 g Chicken thighs (boneless)
- 200 g Mushrooms
- 200 ml Heavy cream
- 150 ml Dry white wine
- 30 g Butter
- 1 EL French mustard (medium heat)
- 1 TL Salt
- 0.5 TL Black pepper
- 2 EL Parsley
Instructions
- 1. Wash the chicken and pat it dry. Cut it into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- 2. Cut the mushrooms into quarters and peel the garlic cloves. Finely chop the parsley.
- 3. Heat the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Fry the chicken until golden brown, then remove it from the pot.
- 4. Fry the mushrooms and garlic in the pan until soft. Pour the white wine over the ingredients.
- 5. Simmer the sauce until the liquid is reduced by half. Stir in the cream and mustard.
- 6. Return the chicken to the pan and let it simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until tender.
- 7. Sprinkle the parsley over the dish and serve hot.
