🥨 Culor Churros

Ingredients
- 125 ml Water
- 1 Prise Salt
- 125 g Wheat flour (Type 405)
- 500 ml Sunflower oil (for frying)
- 50 g Sugar
Instructions
- 1. Bring the water and a pinch of salt to a boil in a pot.
- 2. Remove the pot from the heat. Immediately add the flour and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until the dough pulls away from the sides and forms a ball.
- 3. Let the dough cool until it is lukewarm.
- 4. Fill the dough into a piping bag fitted with a large star nozzle.
- 5. Heat the oil in a pot to 180 degrees Celsius (Test it: A small dough piece should bubble).
- 6. Pipe long, evenly thick churro sticks directly into the hot oil. Fry them for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- 7. Remove the churros and immediately roll them in sugar.
