Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Pat the 400 g chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Never wash them, or they’ll splatter.
  2. 2. Sprinkle the meat with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, and 1 tsp paprika. Spread the mixture evenly.
  3. 3. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
  4. 4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the basket. Make sure they don’t touch.
  5. 5. Cook the meat at 200 °C for 15 minutes. The skin should look slightly crispy.
  6. 6. Flip the chicken thighs halfway through. This helps them brown evenly on all sides.
  7. 7. Take the chicken thighs out early and place them on a plate. They aren’t finished yet.
  8. 8. Press the 2 cloves garlic through a press or chop them very finely.
  9. 9. Mix 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp Sriracha, 1 tbsp soy sauce, the garlic, and 1 tsp sugar in a bowl.
  10. 10. Return the chicken thighs to the air fryer. Generously brush them with the honey-Sriracha mixture.
  11. 11. Cook the glazed wings at 200 °C for another 5 minutes. The sauce needs to caramelize.
  12. 12. Take the chicken thighs out and let them rest for 2 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
  13. 13. Arrange the wings on a plate. They should look shiny and sticky.
  14. 14. Serve the dish immediately. It’s perfect when the glaze crackles slightly and doesn’t run.
