Ingredients
- 400 g Chicken Wings
- 2 EL Honey
- 2 EL Sriracha Sauce
- 1 EL Soy Sauce
- 2 Zehen Garlic
- 1 TL Sugar
- 1 TL Paprika
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Pat the 400 g chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Never wash them, or they’ll splatter.
- 2. Sprinkle the meat with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, and 1 tsp paprika. Spread the mixture evenly.
- 3. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C. This takes about 3 minutes.
- 4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the basket. Make sure they don’t touch.
- 5. Cook the meat at 200 °C for 15 minutes. The skin should look slightly crispy.
- 6. Flip the chicken thighs halfway through. This helps them brown evenly on all sides.
- 7. Take the chicken thighs out early and place them on a plate. They aren’t finished yet.
- 8. Press the 2 cloves garlic through a press or chop them very finely.
- 9. Mix 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp Sriracha, 1 tbsp soy sauce, the garlic, and 1 tsp sugar in a bowl.
- 10. Return the chicken thighs to the air fryer. Generously brush them with the honey-Sriracha mixture.
- 11. Cook the glazed wings at 200 °C for another 5 minutes. The sauce needs to caramelize.
- 12. Take the chicken thighs out and let them rest for 2 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
- 13. Arrange the wings on a plate. They should look shiny and sticky.
- 14. Serve the dish immediately. It’s perfect when the glaze crackles slightly and doesn’t run.
