🍗 Chicken Cassis Gratin with Gruyère

Ingredients
- 600 g Chicken breast fillets
- 250 g Mushrooms
- 1 Stück Onion
- 150 ml Chicken broth
- 30 ml Blackcurrant liqueur
- 20 g Butter
- 100 g Gruyère cheese
- 15 g Flour
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 5 g Thyme
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes.
- 2. Peel and finely dice the onion. Clean the mushrooms and slice them.
- 3. Heat the butter in a pan. Fry the chicken on all sides until golden brown and remove from the pan.
- 4. Fry the onions and mushrooms in the same pan until the vegetables are soft.
- 5. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir for 1 minute. The flour cooks out and gives the sauce body.
- 6. Deglaze with the chicken broth and blackcurrant liqueur. Stir vigorously until no lumps remain.
- 7. Return the chicken and thyme to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer the sauce for 2 minutes.
- 8. Empty the mixture into a baking dish. Generously sprinkle with the grated Gruyère cheese.
- 9. Bake the gratin in the oven for 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and crisp brown.
