🍽️ Quick Chicken Fricassee

Ingredients
- 600 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 300 g carrot(s)
- 150 g peas
- 250 g mushrooms
- 750 ml chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- curry
- nutmeg
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast fillet under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Remove visible fat edges and sinews.
- 4. Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a pot.
- 5. Place the meat into the boiling broth.
- 6. Cook the meat for about 20 minutes until done.
- 7. Peel the carrots meanwhile.
- 8. Cut the carrots into small cubes.
- 9. Add the carrot cubes to the boiling broth.
- 10. Remove the cooked meat from the broth after 20 minutes.
- 11. Strain the broth with the carrots through a sieve.
- 12. Catch the broth in a separate container.
- 13. Melt the butter in a pot.
- 14. Stir the flour into the butter.
- 15. Remove the pot from the heat briefly.
- 16. Pour in the hot broth while whisking constantly with a whisk.
- 17. Place the pot back on the stove.
- 18. Bring the sauce to a boil.
- 19. Clean the mushrooms.
- 20. Quarter the mushrooms.
- 21. Add the mushrooms to the sauce along with the peas.
- 22. Heat everything well.
- 23. Dice the chicken breast.
- 24. Add the chicken cubes back to the sauce along with the carrots.
- 25. Season with curry, nutmeg, pepper, and salt to taste.
- 26. Serve the fricassee with rice or fill it into queen pastries.
