🍰 Strawberry Crumble Cake

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 125 g sugar
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 125 g butter
- 750 g strawberries
- 2 packets glaze (red)
- 0.25 liter white wine (or water)
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 200 ml cream
- 1 packet cream stabilizer
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 25 g sugar
Instructions
- 1. Process all crumble ingredients into crumbly pieces.
- 2. Grease a 26-centimeter springform pan.
- 3. Press two-thirds of the crumbs firmly into the bottom of the pan.
- 4. Spread the remaining crumbs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat.
- 6. Bake the base and the sheet with the remaining crumbs for about 10 to 15 minutes.
- 7. Let everything cool down.
- 8. Carefully lift the base onto a cake plate.
- 9. Place the cake ring back around it.
- 10. Wash the strawberries and remove the green tops.
- 11. Place them whole on the cooled base.
- 12. Prepare the cake glaze according to package instructions using white wine or water and sugar.
- 13. Pour the warm glaze over the strawberries.
- 14. Let the cake cool completely.
- 15. Whip cream, cream stabilizer, vanilla sugar, and sugar until stiff.
- 16. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the strawberry layer.
- 17. Sprinkle the crumbs baked on the sheet over the cream.
- 18. Press them down slightly.
- 19. Decorate the cake with fresh strawberries.
