  1. 1. Process all crumble ingredients into crumbly pieces.
  2. 2. Grease a 26-centimeter springform pan.
  3. 3. Press two-thirds of the crumbs firmly into the bottom of the pan.
  4. 4. Spread the remaining crumbs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat.
  6. 6. Bake the base and the sheet with the remaining crumbs for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. 7. Let everything cool down.
  8. 8. Carefully lift the base onto a cake plate.
  9. 9. Place the cake ring back around it.
  10. 10. Wash the strawberries and remove the green tops.
  11. 11. Place them whole on the cooled base.
  12. 12. Prepare the cake glaze according to package instructions using white wine or water and sugar.
  13. 13. Pour the warm glaze over the strawberries.
  14. 14. Let the cake cool completely.
  15. 15. Whip cream, cream stabilizer, vanilla sugar, and sugar until stiff.
  16. 16. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the strawberry layer.
  17. 17. Sprinkle the crumbs baked on the sheet over the cream.
  18. 18. Press them down slightly.
  19. 19. Decorate the cake with fresh strawberries.
