Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 250 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 250 g butter
- 2 egg(s)
- 0.5 packet baking powder
Instructions
- 1. Put all ingredients into your stand mixer and knead until a smooth, uniform dough forms. If you do not have a machine, mix roughly with a hand mixer and dough hook, then finish kneading by hand.
- 2. You can chill the dough for later use, but it is also fine to work with it immediately. Roll out portions on a floured surface until thin, cut out Christmas shapes, and place the cookies on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- 3. Bake the cookies in batches at 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat (preheat the oven first) until golden yellow. This takes about 8 to 12 minutes, depending on your oven's heat.
