Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 100 ml milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 pkt. vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch(es) salt
- 80 g flour
- oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Separate the eggs. Carefully lift the yolks away from the whites.
- 2. Whisk the yolks with the milk, salt, and vanilla sugar.
- 3. Add the flour to the yolk mixture.
- 4. Stir everything into a smooth batter without lumps.
- 5. Whip the egg whites with the sugar until stiff.
- 6. Check if stiff peaks form when you lift the whisk.
- 7. Gently fold the stiff egg whites into the batter.
- 8. Heat a pan.
- 9. Add a little oil to the hot pan.
- 10. Fry the batter in portions until golden brown.
- 11. Serve the finished pancakes.
- 12. Add maple syrup, jam, applesauce, or chocolate sauce on the side.
