Ingredients
- 125 g butter, softened
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 2 egg(s)
- 200 g flour
- 0.5 packet baking powder
- 1 cup milk (small cup, approx. 150 ml)
Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter together with the sugar until creamy.
- 2. Stir in the vanilla sugar.
- 3. Add the eggs one by one and mix them well with the butter mixture.
- 4. Mix the flour with the baking powder (a leavening agent that fluffs up the dough).
- 5. Take a small part of this flour mixture and stir it into the butter mixture.
- 6. Now add a part of the milk.
- 7. Add the remaining part of the flour mixture and the milk alternately and stir everything until smooth.
- 8. Customize the dough to your liking with ingredients like nuts, cocoa, Nutella, or fruits.
- 9. Bake the dough as a cake at 180 degrees convection for about 30 minutes.
- 10. Do the toothpick test to see if the cake is done.
- 11. Bake muffins for about 10 minutes.
- 12. Let the cake cool down completely after baking.
- 13. Decorate the cake to your liking with icing, chocolate glaze, or simply with powdered sugar.
