  1. 1. Cut the meat into thin strips.
  2. 2. Marinate the meat strips with a little oil and Greek spices.
  3. 3. You can also prepare the marinade the day before.
  4. 4. Finely chop the onion.
  5. 5. Fry the onion in a little oil.
  6. 6. Wash the bell peppers.
  7. 7. Cut the bell peppers into cubes.
  8. 8. Clean the mushrooms.
  9. 9. Cut the mushrooms into cubes as well.
  10. 10. Add the cut vegetables to the onion in the pan.
  11. 11. Let the vegetables simmer on low heat.
  12. 12. Wait until the liquid has evaporated.
  13. 13. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper in between.
  14. 14. Fry the meat in another pan over high heat.
  15. 15. Do not use extra fat when frying the meat.
  16. 16. Add the prepared vegetable mixture to the meat.

  25. 25. Sprinkle the mixture with cheese.
  26. 26. Bake the baking dish for about 20 minutes in the oven.
  27. 27. Remove the dish when the cheese is golden brown.
  28. 28. Serve the dish with rice and tzatziki.
