🍽️ Strasbourg Casserole

Ingredients
- 200 g ribbon noodles (or any other type of your choice)
- 1 large onion(s)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 250 g minced meat, mixed
- 125 ml red wine (1/8 liter)
- 5 tbsp tomato paste
- 0.5 tsp thyme
- 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1.5 tsp salt
- fat for the dish
- 100 g cheese, grated (of your choice)
- 1 container cream (200 g)
Instructions
- 1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente (firm to the bite). Drain them afterwards.
- 2. Sauté the diced onion in oil. Add the minced meat and brown it as well. Deglaze with red wine and season with tomato paste, thyme, cayenne pepper, and salt. Fold in the pasta. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Distribute cheese and cream on top.
- 3. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven at 200 °C fan-forced for about 25 to 30 minutes.
- 4. Serve the dish hot.
