  2. 2. Sift the flour directly into the bowl.
  3. 3. Dissolve the yeast in 3 to 4 tablespoons of lukewarm milk.
  4. 4. Stir 1 teaspoon of sugar into the milk-yeast mixture.
  5. 5. Press a small well into the flour.
  6. 6. Pour the yeast mixture into the well.
  7. 7. Gently stir the yeast with a teaspoon and a little flour.
  8. 8. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel.
  9. 9. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes.
  10. 10. Dust the risen yeast dough with a little flour.
  11. 11. Add the rest of the ingredients to the dough.
  12. 12. Knead the dough with an electric mixer on the highest setting.
  13. 13. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes.
  14. 14. Stop kneading when the dough is smooth.
  15. 15. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel again.
  16. 16. Let the dough rise until it has doubled in size.
