🍽️ Oven-Baked Goat Cheese on Apple Slices with Honey-Balsamic Dip

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp pine nuts
- 2 large apples
- 4 slice/s goat cheese roll (cut approx. 1 cm thick)
- some salad (e.g. arugula, lamb's lettuce...)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp butter
- 0.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven to 225 degrees Celsius. Select the top and bottom heat setting.
- 2. Put the pine nuts into a dry pan. Stir them regularly until they smell nutty and turn slightly golden brown.
- 3. Cut the apples into four thick slices. Each slice should be about 1.5 centimeters thick.
- 4. Remove the core from the apple slices.
- 5. Lightly grease a baking dish with some fat.
- 6. Place the prepared apple slices into the baking dish.
- 7. Place a piece of goat cheese on each apple slice.
- 8. Put the baking dish into the preheated oven. Bake the dish for about 20 minutes.
- 9. Take the baking dish out when the cheese is golden yellow and nicely baked on top.
- 10. Wash the salad leaves thoroughly under running water.
- 11. Distribute the washed salad leaves onto the serving plates.
- 12. Place the hot, baked goat cheese with the apple slices on top of the salad.
- 13. Sprinkle the toasted pine nuts over the cheese.
- 14. Add honey, butter, and balsamic vinegar into the still warm baking dish.
- 15. Stir the ingredients in the dish vigorously until a smooth sauce has formed.
- 16. Pour the warm sauce directly over the goat cheese.
- 17. Serve the dish immediately while it is still warm.
