Ingredients
- 1 kg Kassler neck
- 5 onion(s)
- 1 pinch(es) sugar
- 2 can(s) sauerkraut
- 1 can(s) pineapple chunks
- 2 tub(s) cream (à 200 ml)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the meat into large cubes. Remove the bones if present. Sear the meat pieces over high heat and then remove them from the pan.
- 2. Sauté the onions until they are translucent. Sprinkle them with sugar and let them caramelize. Add the meat, sauerkraut, cream, and drained pineapple chunks. Let the mixture simmer for about 1 hour. Mashed potatoes pair perfectly with this dish.
