  1. 1. Beat the egg yolks and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  2. 2. Slowly mix the powdered sugar into the egg mixture.
  3. 3. Add the condensed milk and stir everything well.
  4. 4. Gently stir the rum into the liquid.
  5. 5. Place a heatproof bowl into a pot filled with hot water.
  6. 6. Pour the liqueur mixture into the bowl in the water bath.
  7. 7. Warm the mixture slowly while stirring constantly.
  8. 8. Stop when the liquid thickens.
  9. 9. Make sure the mixture never boils.
  10. 10. Pour the warm liqueur into bottles.
  11. 11. Do not fill the bottles completely to the brim.
  12. 12. Let the liqueur cool down as it will thicken further.
  13. 13. The remaining space allows you to add milk or rum later if needed.
