🍽️ Crunchy Almond Biscotti

Ingredients
- 200 g almond(s) (whole)
- 1 lemon(s) (unwaxed)
- 120 g butter (soft)
- 400 g flour
- 0.5 packet baking powder
- 2 packet vanilla sugar
- 200 g sugar
- 3 egg(s)
Instructions
- 1. Roast the almonds in a pan without oil until fragrant. Grate the lemon zest and mix it with the rest of the dough. Knead the roasted almonds thoroughly into the mixture.
- 2. Line two baking sheets with baking paper. Using hands lightly dusted with flour, shape four long, flat dough strips (about 5 cm wide) on the paper.
- 3. Bake the sheets at 175 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes.
- 4. Remove the dough strips from the baking sheet and cut them into diagonal slices using a sharp knife.
- 5. Place the slices flat back onto the baking sheet and bake them for another 10 minutes.
- 6. They taste fantastic with cappuccino or tea!
