🍽️ Fig Arugula Salad with Mozzarella and Parmesan

Ingredients
- 200 g arugula
- 4 fig(s)
- 2 ball(s) mozzarella
- 4 slice(s) Parma ham (thinly sliced)
- a little mint (fresh)
- 100 g Parmesan (block)
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp honey (warmed in a water bath)
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the arugula under cold water.
- 2. Shake the arugula dry.
- 3. Place the arugula leaves on your plates.
- 4. Make a small cross-cut at the stem end of the figs.
- 5. Gently squeeze the figs from the bottom.
- 6. Open the figs to reveal the inside.
- 7. Place the figs in the center of the salad.
- 8. Tear the ham into small pieces by hand.
- 9. Tear the mozzarella into small pieces by hand.
- 10. Scatter the ham and mozzarella pieces over the salad.
- 11. Sprinkle a few fresh mint leaves over the salad.
- 12. Shave off paper-thin slices of Parmesan with a knife.
- 13. Sprinkle the Parmesan shavings over the salad.
- 14. Mix the olive oil, honey, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
- 15. Season the dressing mixture with a little salt.
- 16. Season the dressing mixture with freshly ground pepper.
- 17. Drizzle the dressing evenly over the salad.
- 18. Warm the honey in a water bath.
- 19. Carefully drizzle the warm honey over the finished salad in small drops using a spoon.
