🍰 Quick and Fine Apple Cake

Ingredients

- 250 g sugar
- 125 g butter
- 100 ml milk
- 300 g flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 5 medium-sized apples
- to taste cinnamon sugar (or sliced almonds for sprinkling)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 2. Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Bring the butter and milk to a boil and pour the hot mixture into the egg-sugar mixture. Gently fold in the flour and baking powder. Spread the batter evenly on the baking sheet. Cut the apples into wedges and place them on the batter.
- 3. Bake the cake on the middle rack for 25 to 30 minutes.
- 4. Sprinkle the cooled cake with cinnamon sugar or almonds.
