Ingredients
- 0.5 onion(s)
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1.5 cup long-grain rice
- 1 can tomatoes, chunky
- 2 tbsp chicken broth powder
- 3 tbsp ajvar
- 2 cup(s) water
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 pinches pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1.5 cup(s) peas, frozen (or fresh, shelled, approx. 200 g)
- 0.5 bell pepper(s), red
- 1 tbsp parsley (frozen)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the onions into small cubes.
- 2. Press the garlic clove.
- 3. Sauté the onions and garlic in butter.
- 4. Add the rice, tomato pieces, broth powder, ajvar, and water.
- 5. Season the mixture generously with the spices.
- 6. Add the peas and the diced bell pepper.
- 7. Let everything simmer for about 20 minutes.
- 8. Fold in the parsley shortly before serving.
- 9. Serve the rice with Cevapcici.
- 10. Note: A cup with a volume of 238 milliliters was used as the unit of measurement.
