🍽️ Crispy Pan-Fried Potatoes from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 500 g potatoes, waxy
- 1 onion(s), red
- 2 tsp herb salt
- 2 tsp pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tsp paprika powder, sweet
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 50 g Black Forest ham
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
- 2. Slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
- 3. Place the potato slices in a bowl filled with cold water.
- 4. Let the potatoes sit in the water for 15 minutes.
- 5. Drain the water and pat the potatoes dry with a kitchen towel.
- 6. Season the potatoes with herb salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 7. Add the rapeseed oil and mix everything well.
- 8. Peel the onion and cut it into thin strips.
- 9. Add the onion strips to the seasoned potatoes.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 11. Place the potato and onion mixture into the air fryer basket.
- 12. Fry the potatoes for 10 minutes at 180 °C.
- 13. Remove the basket and shake it vigorously to ensure even cooking.
- 14. Add the sliced Black Forest ham.
- 15. Fry the mixture for another 10 to 15 minutes at 180 °C until crispy.
